This is your time: TD's message to women working in technology

There was nothing typical about TD's recent technology recruitment event. Discussion among the more than 120 all-female attendees focused on everything from how some rules should be ignored to why women hesitate to apply for jobs unless they feel they're 100 per cent qualified.

Colleen Johnston, Group Head, Direct Channels, Technology, Marketing and Corporate & Public Affairs at TD was the host of the dynamic networking event that also included a panel discussion and interviews for open technology roles at TD.

Attendees heard directly from a panel of high-performing women who work as part of TD's technology team. These women are role models of performance and dedication. They are not only building and leading large global technology teams and implementing trading and risk management systems, they are supporting the TD community through TD's Women in Technology and Women in Leadership initiatives, and developing their leadership and management skills through ongoing executive training programs.

As part of the panel discussion, the participants reflected on their experiences at TD. Following are some of their powerful insights that speak to their experience as part of TD's technology team.

TD has career opportunities for data scientists, agile coaches, mobile and web developers and Dev Ops transformation specialists.
