How one new Canadian found financial confidence after losing his life savings

Whether it's paying off a student loan, credit card, or covering your basic expenses each month—feeling financially confident means different things to different people. What makes us feel financially confident as individuals can also change throughout our lifetime, and is shaped by our evolving needs. 

According to a survey of roughly 13,000 Canadians, 79% of respondents said they do not feel confident about their financial future. Like many Canadians, Anand Soukur was no exception.
