At one of Toronto's biggest hackathons, over 500 hackers came together to log 21,000 hours in order to help solve one problem:

How do we create a more data driven, technologically-connected city that is inclusive, safe and vibrant for everyone that calls Toronto home?

A team of eight women from TD were among those who participated in the Elevate Hackathon. The event, created by TD, was where this team found a way to use their own experiences as new Canadians to design a solution that would help increase the digital confidence of other newcomers and improve their quality of life.
